Constellations - Vol. 3, No. 2, July - September 2012 Release

We are happy to present the tenth issue of Constellations, our journal and newsletter. Click here to download the .pdf file.

This tenth edition features our regular sections together with a special tribute by Abdal Hakim Murad to Khalil Dale, the Red Cross and Red Crescent worker killed in Pakistan earlier this year. Although engineering and science can help us live and function, we believe that beauty and love are what make this life worth living, hence the presence of poetry and quotations of wisdom in this publication. The website highlighted this issue will be of particular interesting to young people contemplating an ethical career in the sciences.

The Ayman Series continues with a case study on Malaysian energy policy. Ayman, having spent many years in the jungles of Malaysia was an avid champion of Malaysia’s natural beauty, which has always moved us to link it with each of the topics covered in the series. We feature thought and soul provoking articles on Sharī‘ah from our two regular contributors. Finally and for those with a more specific interest and lengthier reading span, the journal section presents papers on responsible leadership and the developing food crisis.

We hope that you enjoy reading this issue, and invite you to forward new of it to those who might value it.

Regards

The IMASE Team
