Ummahtic Inspiration

2nd Muslim Researcher's Colloquium

Date: Saturday 15th July 2006
Time: 11.00 am - 4.00 pm
Venue: Birkbeck College University of London, Malet Street, Bloomsbury, London, WC1E 7HX

Following the success of our previous colloquium, Muslim researchers of all backgrounds are once again invited to take part in a second research gathering designed to build bridges within our academic community. There will be the opportunity to present your research, share experiences and develop new relationships of learning that could potentially extend to formal research collaborations. If you have any ideas, comments, suggestions or would like to help out, we would like to hear from you.

International Muslim Association of Scientists and Engineers (IMASE) is a network of scholars, researchers, students and professionals who work together to nurture and exploit knowledge, with an Islamic framework, for the benefit of humanity. We view science and technology in their broadest sense and believe that research activity should be encouraged, supported and appreciated since learning is a vital part of Islamic culture and heritage.
